Site updates

What's new on the site

Every change we make to onestopgroup.us, newest first, in plain language.

October 2, 2026

  • Fixed — the mortgage calculator prices insurance correctly at common down payments. With exactly 5% or 10% down, it sometimes charged a higher mortgage insurance rate than it should, and at 3% or 3.5% down it could wrongly say the down payment was too small. Exact percentages now always count as what they are, and a down payment that falls even slightly short still counts as short. The note under the insurance rate also shows the down payment as a plain percentage. → Mortgage calculator
  • Fixed — mortgage insurance ends on time in the calculator. On a conventional loan it now stops halfway through the loan at the latest, as federal law requires, not only once you owe 78% of the price. → Mortgage calculator
  • Fixed — clearer credit guidance for FHA loans. With a score "Below 620," the calculator no longer suggests FHA is out of reach for everyone. It explains that FHA usually needs a score of at least 580. → Mortgage calculator
  • Fixed — Team Hub sign-in says what really happened. If a sign-in code can't be emailed, the page now says so instead of asking for a code that will never arrive. → Team Hub
  • Fixed — the Team Hub never shows outdated numbers. If the figures for a new period don't load, the hub says so instead of leaving the previous period's numbers on screen. Event sign-in counts are no longer set beside page visits counted a different way. → Team Hub
  • Under the hood: more automatic checks now guard the calculator, the Team Hub, and the event sign-in pages before every update.

October 1, 2026 — evening

  • Under the hood: the website now checks itself automatically for many more kinds of mistakes before every update goes out. Nothing on the site looks or works any differently.

October 1, 2026 — later that day

  • New — book a call with John or Daniel online. Their pages have a "Book a call" button that opens their calendar right on the page, so a visitor can pick a day and time for a 30-minute phone call without leaving the site. → Book with John · Daniel
  • New — every profile lists the languages that person speaks. John, Daniel, Brian, and David speak Portuguese, Spanish, and English, and Jonathan speaks Spanish and English. → See it on Daniel's profile · Jonathan's profile
  • Changed — Daniel's profile now says "Co-founder of One Stop Group," the same as John's. → Daniel's profile
  • Changed — Brian's email address. Brian's page and the contact card visitors can save now use balmeida@kw.com. → Brian's profile
  • Fixed — team photos show on iPhones. On some iPhones, opening a team member's page could leave a blank white space where their photo belongs. Photos now show right away. → About us
  • Changed — pages load faster. Team pages and the service pages load less and show their main photo sooner, with no change to how the photos look. → Residential
  • Under the hood: more automatic checks now guard team photos, booking, and page speed before every update.

October 1, 2026

  • New — David Simoes and Jonathan Rodriguez join the team. Both are Buyer Agent Specialists. Each has a page with a photo, bio, a few quick facts, and a direct phone number and email, and both appear on the homepage and the About page. → David · Jonathan
  • New — client reviews on the homepage. A new section shares what clients say about One Stop Group, quoted from the company's Google reviews. Each review links to the original, and another link opens every review on Google. → Homepage reviews
  • New — John and Daniel's pages show reviews from their clients. Each page has three reviews from clients they worked with, each linking to the original on Google. → John's reviews · Daniel's reviews
  • Changed — team titles are easier to read. "Team Lead" now sits above "Real Estate and Mortgage Specialist," so John and Daniel's titles take two short lines on a phone instead of four. → About us
  • Changed — the team tree fits every screen. On a phone, Brian, David, and Jonathan line up under John and Daniel, with the red line branching to each, so the About page keeps its tree as the team grows. → About us

September 30, 2026

  • New — every team member has their own page. John, Daniel, and Brian each have a page with their full photo, bio, a few quick facts, and their own phone number and email. Visitors can call, email, save the person to their phone's contacts, or share the page, and a texted link shows the person's photo. Clicking a photo or name on the homepage or the About page opens it. → John · Daniel · Brian
  • Changed — the About page shows the team as a tree. John and Daniel sit on top and Brian below, joined by the red line from the logo. The longer bios now live on each person's page, and John and Daniel's title reads "Team Lead: Real Estate and Mortgage Specialist." → About us
  • New — the site moves with the logo's red line. The homepage's opening motion plays once per visit, and the red line draws through the "How it works" steps as visitors scroll down. Clicking a service card grows it into its page, and a team member's photo grows into theirs. Phones and computers set to reduce motion show every page without it. → Homepage
  • Changed — the Get Started form slides between questions. Continue slides to the next question and Back slides to the previous one. → Get started
  • Fixed — Back returns visitors to where they were. Going back to a page used to jump to the top. It now lands where the visitor left off. → Homepage

September 28, 2026

  • Changed — Ashley Bernardino is no longer listed on the team. Her card, bio, and photo are off the homepage and the About page. The team section now shows John, Daniel, and Brian. → About us

September 5, 2026

  • Fixed — guests who sign in with only a phone number now show up in your contacts. Before, a sign-in without an email address was kept in the form's records but never became a contact, so those guests were missing from your event lists. The same was true for website leads who left email blank. Every phone-only sign-in and lead now becomes a contact with their event and answers attached, and the three people affected so far have been added. → Event sign-in
  • Fixed — credit repair leads keep their "Service needed" answer. Since July, a lead who picked Credit repair on the Get Started form arrived in your contacts with that field blank. New leads now keep it. → Get started
  • Under the hood: the Team Hub now always loads its newest version after an update.

September 4, 2026 — later that day

  • Changed — the Team Hub keeps owner tools in their own section. The tools everyone uses, the event QR maker and the update history, stay at the top. HubSpot, the site traffic report, and the website summary now sit together in a clearly marked Owners section at the bottom, which team members do not see. The event guide opens from the QR maker rather than taking a spot of its own. → Team Hub
  • New — John and Daniel are emailed the moment a lead arrives. Every Get Started form sent through the website now emails both owners right away, in addition to landing in HubSpot as before. → Get started

September 4, 2026

  • New — a Team Hub for the One Stop Group team. One private page gathers everything the team uses day to day: the event QR maker, the event guide, HubSpot, site traffic, and the update history. Below the tools, the events list shows the next event first with its sign-in page and reprint buttons, and every past event with how many people signed in. Sign in with your company email. A six-digit code arrives by email, so there is no password to remember. Add the page to your phone's home screen and it opens like an app. → Team Hub
  • New — owners see how the website is doing. John and Daniel get a website summary on the hub for the last 7, 30, or 90 days or the past year: visitors compared with the period before, how many people tapped the phone number or email address, how many started and finished the lead form (and where the rest stopped), and how many used the mortgage calculator. Tap any figure to see each occurrence, with the page, how the visitor found the site, and the town they were in. → Team Hub
  • New — the QR maker remembers your events. Every event you have made a QR for now appears under Your events, so you can reprint a code or open its sign-in page without retyping the name. Give an event a date and the hub shows it as Next up with a countdown. Type a name you have used before and the maker says so, so sign-ins stay together in HubSpot. → QR maker
  • New — the event guide is on the website. The step-by-step guide for running a sign-in event, from printing the code to following up afterward, now has its own page, linked from the QR maker and the hub. → Event guide
  • Fixed — page counts in the site traffic report are accurate again. The mortgage calculator was being counted as a fresh page read every time a visitor changed a number, which inflated the totals. Each page is now counted once per visit. → Mortgage calculator

August 27, 2026

  • New — mortgage calculator. A free calculator that shows what a home would really cost each month — not just the loan payment, but property taxes, home insurance, and mortgage insurance too. A few things set it apart from the typical calculator:

    • Today's real rates, built in. Instead of a made-up starting rate, it opens with the national average from loans actually locked with lenders the previous business day. Already have a quoted rate? Type it in and the calculator uses yours.
    • Real program rules. Switch between Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA and the numbers follow each program's actual rules — minimum down payment, upfront fees, and mortgage insurance — each starting from its own average rate.
    • See the payoff. A chart and a year-by-year table show the loan being paid down, and exactly how much time and interest extra monthly payments save.
    • Share your numbers. Copy a link and anyone who opens it sees the same exact scenario.

Every number is clearly labeled an estimate for planning — real quotes still come from the team. → Mortgage calculator

  • New — a Tools menu on every page. The menu at the top of the site now has a Tools section, so the calculator is one click away from anywhere. More tools will join it. → Homepage

August 16, 2026

  • New — update emails for the team. Whenever the website changes, the team now receives an email describing exactly what changed, in plain language, the moment it goes live — like the one announcing this update.
  • New — a public update history page. Every change ever made to the site now lives on one easy-to-read page, newest first. It is linked from the bottom of every page on the site and from the button in each update email. → onestopgroup.us/updates
  • Changed — earlier update notes rewritten in plain language. The technical wording in past entries was rewritten so anyone on the team can read the full history without a translator. → Full update history
  • Under the hood: every update now goes through a safety checklist that refuses to publish until these notes are written, and the update page and email are checked automatically before anything goes out.

August 15, 2026

  • Changed — clearer credit-repair service expectations. The Straight Talk section now focuses on thorough report review, evidence-based disputes, and transparent expectations. It explains the value of the team-managed process without repeating self-service language in the marketing section; formal consumer rights remain available on the Required Disclosures page. → Credit Repair · Required Disclosures
  • Fixed — navigation labels stay on one line. The desktop header now has enough room for the logo, tagline, and navigation, and switches to the compact menu before the layout becomes crowded at narrower widths.
  • Under the hood: a private preview page let the team compare five wording options side by side before choosing this one, and more automatic checks now review the site’s menus and wording before every update goes out.

August 14, 2026

  • New — credit repair services. The new page explains report reviews, disputes of inaccurate or unverifiable items, and practical rebuilding guidance, with clear up-front limits: accurate current information cannot lawfully be removed, self-disputes are free, and no score or timeline is guaranteed. → onestopgroup.us/credit-repair
  • New — a dedicated credit-repair intake and booking path. Choosing Credit Repair in Get Started asks only the relevant location, income, credit, timeline, and contact questions. After a successful submission, visitors can book a credit consultation immediately from the confirmation screen. → onestopgroup.us/start?need=credit
  • Changed — credit-repair disclosures and privacy details are explicit. The disclosures page now covers the written contract, three-business-day cancellation right, free self-dispute right, limits on claims, fees, and state-by-state availability. The Privacy Policy and form consent also explain when a servicing partner receives the details needed to fulfill a request. → Required Disclosures · Privacy Policy
  • Under the hood: credit-repair inquiries are saved in HubSpot like every other inquiry and also handed to the servicing partner automatically, and automatic checks now confirm that hand-off — and the existing residential and commercial paths — before every update goes out.

August 7, 2026

  • New — Ashley Bernardino joins the team page. Listing Specialist with over 15 years in New Jersey real estate. Her card appears in the team grid on the homepage, with her full bio and headshot on the About page — the grid is now a clean two-by-two. → onestopgroup.us/about
  • Under the hood: testing now happens in a completely separate practice copy of the contact system, so trying things out can never touch real client records.

July 16, 2026

  • New — Cars, Coffee and Closings sign-in page. Guests pick Spectator or Showing a car; show cars add their year, make, and model, so the show roster builds itself in HubSpot as people sign in. Kiosk mode included. → onestopgroup.us/cars-coffee-closings
  • Changed — the QR maker recognizes the series. Typing Cars, Coffee and Closings (or a dated edition like … — August) produces a QR for the new page automatically, with a note confirming it. Every other event name works exactly as before. → onestopgroup.us/event-qr
  • Changed — old event links forward. A previously printed QR or shared link that points at the generic sign-in page with the series name now forwards guests to the new page automatically.
  • Under the hood: both sign-in pages now run on the same well-tested machinery, and the new sign-in list "Cars, Coffee and Closings Sign-In" is ready in HubSpot (Marketing → Forms).

July 13, 2026

  • New — event sign-in via QR code. Type any event's name into the QR maker, print the code, and guests scan it to sign in (name + phone/email, about 15 seconds). Each sign-in lands in HubSpot tagged with the event name, ready for follow-up. Kiosk mode — linked right from the QR maker — turns a tablet at the door into a self-resetting sign-in station. → QR maker: onestopgroup.us/event-qr · sign-in page: onestopgroup.us/event
  • New — Brian Almeida on the team pages (Buyer Agent Specialist), alongside John and Daniel, with the team cards realigned so photos and text line up at every screen size. → onestopgroup.us/about and the homepage team section
  • Fixed — Google can now find the site. A pre-launch leftover was still telling search engines to stay away; the site can now appear in search results.
  • Fixed — Get Started phone validation. A phone number with too few digits is flagged before submitting (previously the inquiry could fail silently). The consent text was also strengthened: it now covers automated calls/texts and links to the Privacy Policy. → onestopgroup.us/start
  • Under the hood: every form on the site now uses the same well-tested submission machinery, the new "Event Sign-In Form" list is set up in HubSpot, and a battery of automatic checks now runs before every update goes out.

July 7, 2026

  • New — founder bios. Full stories for John (20+ years in mortgage lending) and Daniel (a decade in real estate): what each handles and their credentials. → onestopgroup.us/about
  • Changed — homepage team cards now show each founder's credentials at a glance, with a "Read full bio" link to the About page (clicks are counted anonymously per founder, so we can see engagement). → homepage team section

July 5, 2026

  • Changed — the site is faster. Pages preload in the background the moment a visitor hovers a link, and page changes use a smooth fade instead of a white flash. All photos were converted to a modern format — identical look, a fraction of the download. No layouts, text, or forms changed.
  • New — anonymous measurement. Page visits, button taps (phone number and email), scroll depth, and where people stop in the Get Started form are counted — without cookies and without identifying anyone. Nothing anyone types is recorded; personal details are saved only when someone submits the form, same as before.
  • New — lead attribution. Each completed Get Started inquiry now shows in the CRM which ad, campaign, or search brought that person in.
  • Changed — the site’s lettering now loads straight from our own site instead of an outside service (faster, and visitors’ browsers no longer contact a third party just to draw the text). → Homepage
